A few comments on Ed's Internet marketing presentations...

Dear Conference Organizer,

Ed Taylor spoke at the IMC International Internet Marketing conference I produced in Montreal. During Ed's talk, audiences were very attentive, asked lots of questions and took a lot of notes - the common clear signs that the speaker knows his stuff and is hitting the target bang-on. But among more than 30 other excellent speakers Ed stands out far beyond this for two exceptional things.

First - of all the speakers this year or any other, Ed has a God-given natural talent for cutting through the clutter and getting to the simple take-home message. Not with fancy presentations but with insight and humor, both of which he has in abundance. (Just the two things every conference needs more of.) This is crucial for this material, which is more often made more complicated by a rush of detail when it's the core take-away facts that are important.

Second, after his talk I was inundated with people wanting to hear more from him - more than has ever happened to me before with any other speaker. To accommodate the interest he had sparked, Ed was good enough to agree to sit on two panels that same day for which I was very grateful and so were my attendees.

(Ed, I know this letter is intended for someone else but since you're going to read it I want to include this: you are welcome to speak at any future event I produce. Consider this an open invitation - and keep in touch!)
